Today, May 8th is ....

Mother's Day..........I am the proud mom of a young man and young woman.
Iris Day.......Beautiful flower....think they wilt too fast.
Student Nurses Day.............. the only female in my family that isn't a nurse.
No Socks Day........... will only wear the chenille socks, or none at all
Have a Coke Day..........Love love love Coke Zero

    I'm adding some comments on the events of the day so you aren't the only one doing it!
    Mother's Day - same as you - one of each
    Iris - grew up with them in the garden although Mum doesn't grow them any more I still love them
    Nurses - don't know many nurses but definitely appreciate everything they do.
    No Socks Day - that's me most days!
    Have a Coke Day - not me as I prefer Fanta
