I wanted something other than a picture frame to display seasonal sayings/printables.
I love how this turned out. It's made from a wood candlestick, a heavily discounted painted wood sign and a little wood finial at the top. The holder is one of the magnetic clips that you can clip to your fridge. The wood sign was on clearance at Michaels for a mere 1.50 so the whole project cost me about $6.00. I assembled everything with Gorilla Glue, painted everything with chalk ivory paint sanded down some of the paint to make it look a little worn and voila~! I want to make another one that will hold a different sized printable also. I was kind of dictated by that wood painted sign box that was on clearance.
What do you think?

Right after college I lived on the Monterey Peninsula. Used to drive up to San Francisco at least once a month. Loved to watch the old cable cars. Riding on them was better than a roller coaster in some instances....lol
Please join me in welcoming Edwina to our Design Team!
Edwina was born in Kentucky, moved to Georgia for 23 years on January 8, 1978 and then moved to New Jersey on February 21, 2001.
She learned about scrap booking from a friend at church. It was the beginning. She made scrapbooks for different people when they moved away, including for the friend who taught her about scrap booking.
She started card making around 2006. Digis came into her life when she finally figured out how to set up a blog in 2011. She never knew that she would spend so much time with it and enjoy it so much
She currently is on Morgan’s Art World Design Team and am now on Create with TLC.
She is 54 years old, has 3 brothers, 3 nieces and 4 great nephews and 1 1/2 great nieces. She lives with her parents. She loves hot tea. A cup is by her side year round as she create her cards and other items.
She has been saving digis and joined the TLC clubs since 2011. She loves vintage and cute images, plus TLC sentiments are perfect for many occasions. You will see TLC items on her creations quite often.
