Yesterday, 2-17-14 was RAK day..........I can't believe I missed this. I will just have to go forward and practice this day the rest of this week........
It is not a holiday, rather a national day where the entire country is challenged to do something kind to a friend or stranger for no reason at all.
I challenge everyone who reads this blog to commit a random act of kindness tomorrow.....2-19
Simple acts of kindness are endless; buy someone a coffee, congratulate someone on a job well done, offer to drive someone to an appointment. Hand someone a rose, or compliment a stranger. So many kind things can be done...
Then, come back to the blog and let everyone know what you did as an act of kindness for someone, and how that kindness was received. Not to boast, but to share ideas, and reactions with others to encourage others to share some random kindness.
Here is a little RAK from me. A little TLC

I try to do RAKs every day - it really lifts my spirits to do something nice for other people. Thank you for the freebie image - it's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSending joy your way!
This is an adorable image for such a special of an occasion It is too bad that I think you are the only one who recognizes this. It should be an automatic. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I love this digi! It is wonderful!. I'll be using it real soon. Edwina Brown
ReplyDeleteYou show kindness every day! Thanks for another great image.
ReplyDeleteNice image; thank you for sharing=) Collette
ReplyDeleteI was on the receiving end of a RAK.... yesterday I needed to go to the doctor for an unscheduled EKG. I have a heart condition which does not allow me to drive when it's in one of it's 'spells', so I had to call a friend for help. Michelle gave up her entire afternoon of planned activity with friends to take me to the doctor's office!.... so much appreciated :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I appreciate this cute little tea set image... thank you Paulette :)
Thank you Paulette for your RAK, mine was to listen to someone who was very upset, I think we are apt to talk too much and not listen enough! She phoned me later to say she was ok and said how it had helped to talk. It shouldn't have to be a special day for this, we should be doing it every day :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Paulette!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThank you for this image. It is so sweet. I hugged a nurse and let her know how much I appreciated her kindness. I am going to send her a card also. Maybe I will use this image!! Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteThank you for reminding us to share with others . . . . I sent some fabric to a friend who is just starting to quilt for her first project and also shared some canned goods with another friend while holding her hand and praying for her and her husband's health!!!
ReplyDeleteI thank you for always sharing your kindness with us!
Much love, hugs, and friendship
Lynne
As if you don't do enough!!! Thank you, Paulette.
ReplyDeleteThank you Paulette for the beautiful image. I will indeed use it soon. Not had a chance yet to help but a friend is coming over who is having some problems so maybe I can help her if not I will find something to do in the next day or so. I try to do something when ever I see someone. I don't see people everyday so I do when I can.
ReplyDeleteI try to a RAK almost everyday that I am able to. Today I sent a bunch of my latest freebies to two of my regular readers who have been sick lately and haven't been able to make their usual rounds. I didn't want them to miss out and it only took a few minutes of my time to do so.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for reminding us of the importance of random acts of kindness and of course for the wonderful freebie.
Hugs,
Lisa
Im always trying to give RAK's. AS it makes me as happy as the 1 receiving. I took a lady out shopping who doesn't get to go out much and shop 4 herself. And gave a much needed hug to a down syndrome man.
ReplyDeleteU give us all acts if kindness every day. Thank you.
Thank you very much for all your freebies. I send out RAK cards every so often. I can't get out so that is my way of helping others. I sent a RAK card yesterday to someone I haven't met through her friend. the other day I sent some embossed card to a friend to use for her card making as she hasn't been able to find the folder to buy.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much!
ReplyDeleteHeaps of thanks sweetie.
ReplyDeleteHugs
