  3. I don't do this! I did when I was still living at home with my mother...me her and my sis would go out divide and conquer but not any more if there is something I really want I try to get it that morning online or convince myself its not necessary :)

  4. Believe it or not, I actually observe "Buy Nothing Day" on Black Friday, just because I think it's all gotten a little out of hand and I feel terribly sorry for the retail employees who have to start work at 2 or 3 a.m. on that day!

  5. Not me.....! My kids want electronics like I touch and $$$ for a ski trip- I will be working on Friday and avioding the stores!

  6. I didn't know what Black Friday was until I started digital scrapbooking, we don't have it in the UK. I was fascinated when bloggers talked about going to Walmart and Target!

  7. Not a chance of going out. I have been Black Friday shopping twice in my life. I hate it. Makes me shudder just thinking about it.

  8. Black Friday is not the same day here in Canada. Although there are a lot of sales going on this week kind of mimicing the USA black friday. I plan to waltz through Michael's at least, but not at 5am!

  9. I might hit my favorite craft store and shop for me but that is it. I give the gift that is always wanted, cash. No returns. I give my grandaughter cash and she shops for her grade schoolers with it. I don't like shopping.

  10. Not me..!! I never have either. I'll be on the road on Friday anyway. xo

  11. I don't do Black Friday since we live in a rather remote area and we'd have to drive a ways to participate. I will check online for some specials. I'm looking for a new computer so surely HP will have some good specials.

  12. I am 44 years old & have never gone out shopping on Black Friday. The roads are usually horrendous & sometimes, so are the shoppers. I would think that shopping on line would be easier=) Collette

  13. Not me - tried it once and I saw a totally aweful side of people I'd known for years. Besides, nothing is important enough for me to get into that type of situation!

  14. When my daughter visits for Thanksgiving we go out in the wee hours for Black Friday to get the deals on toys for the kids. But this year - it's just me - and the only Black Friday specials I will be snagging will be online from the comfort of my easy chair.

  15. I did it once, looking for a platinu playstation 2 for my daughter. She had to have it. 3 hours later we found one. LOl!

  16. The hospital I work at is next to the biggest shopping center in town and I am working that afternoon. It will take me as long or longer to get the 2 miles from the interstate as it will for me to get the 25 miles from my house. But my daughter shops early, early every year, has a list and methodically gets all her shopping done that day.

  17. I NEVER go out on Black Friday. I always have all my Christmas shopping done before then so I don't have to go into a store for Christmas gifts after Thanksgiving. Too many people in bad moods!

  18. Not me!!! I stay home with my hubby and pets where it is warm and cozy and starting decorating the house!!!

  19. Are you crazy? Who wants to fight those crowds? I might head in around 9 or 10, depending on how I feel. I hate shopping.

  20. Oh PLEASE - the stores make such a hype about this - you would have to be a sprinter to get the two items they have in the back of the store - I find that prices get low enough in another few days because the stores will still be trying to get you in the doors.

  21. I use to do this until I got hurt. I figure my life isn't worth a deal. Therefore, I do all my black Friday shopping from Internet. :-)

  22. My DH goes out just for the fun of it...But I've usually got all my shopping done before November 1st.
(This year we are running late and just finished yesterday with those last few items)
One of our local stores has it's best toy prices in October every year.

  23. No way am I going out there. Besides the town I live in doesn't offer much so I have become quite the cyber shopper. I will be looking for my Black Friday deals online!!!

  24. I used to be required to work black friday - even though it's my anniversary weekend. Now that I'm job hunting, I can go back to crack-of-dawn shopping with my mother in law, it's a tradition I kinda missed.

  25. I don't. I seldom shop even on normal days due to my health issues.
My daughter told me about Cyber Monday. I might check that out.

  26. My sisters do, me I stay in my warm bed and sleep. I try to make all my presents and if the reciepients don't like what they got , oh well that is there problem. I do what I can with in my means. I did one christmas spend a lot, only to help my parents out. Then spent the next year paying it off. Never again.

  27. I will be sleeping in and then enjoying the sunshine poolside on Black Friday. No shopping for this girl. In fact, I am pretty sure all my shopping this year will be done online. I hate to shop--an entire day can go by in a wink and all you get is sore feet and an empty wallet... no thanks.

  28. Nope. Don't participate in the craze. IF I did, I would go to Michael's.

    D :)

  29. I won't do Black Friday either. I am looking forward to babysitting for a new mom so she can "enjoy" the excitement and I can enjoy her sweet pea! Happy Thanksgiving

  30. Let's go guys, only 10 more comments to reach the goal! ;)

  31. I haven't been out on Black Friday in years... My mom and I used to go out, but she's gotten out of the habit, and I was never overly fond of fighting all the crowds. I have never woken up at 3 a.m. to shop -- and I never will. LOL

  32. In my 20's I ventured out early for the 45 minute drive to do Black Friday shopping, but now in my 40's I'd rather pay the few extra dollars on a different day. I'd rather not venture out shopping at all between Thanksgiving and Christmas! LOL! NOTHING is worth the hassle of battling maniacal shoppers out on a hunt for the best bargain.

  33. I used to go every year. This year I might make it out for some goodies at Kohl's or a new all in one printer...
