  1. My fav sandwich would have to be barbecue brisket on Texas toast with coleslaw and a dill pickle. I don't mind a side of sweet potato fries to accompany that and wash it down with sweet tea. (Sorry I haven't had breakfast yet. lol)

  3. Monte Christo sandwich - ham, turkey, 3 slices of bread all dipped in egg mix and grilled like French toast. Served with strawberry jam and you're in heaven!!!

  4. subway - turkey with tomato, onion, black olives, sweet pepper, little lettuce, the seasonsings and sun-tried tomato balsamic vinegarette. yummo!!!

  8. Hmmmm...tough decision cause there are so many! I'd have to say A lean turkey with lettuce,tomatoes,
    low fat cheese slice on toasted whole grain bread and zapped in the microwave for about 35 seconds.
    Mmmmm Mmmmm Mmmmmm Good!!!

    Oh I forgot,a bit of mayo,not too much cause it's too fattening,lol!

  20. I have several favorites - a REALLY good chicken salad, rare roast beef on sour dough with LT&Mayo, a hot reuben with lots of sauerkraut, PBJ on a tortilla! Grilled cheese - MUENSTER!!

  25. MMMmmmmm, a "California Cruiser" . . . This has Turkey and bacon with avacado, tomato, red onion, a splash of ranch and then baked in the oven to melt pepper jack cheese -- top with sprouts!!!!

  29. My favourite is quite simple - thick sliced roast beef, cheddar cheese, a little too much mayo, on fresh, soft sourdough. Add some leaf lettuce and you have perfection!

  38. Tuna fish salad made with solid white tuna, yellow delicious apples, lemon juice, and egg--and of course Hellman's mayonaise--Awesome! Got the recipe off of Sesame Street years ago when my kids were little. I added the egg though, can be left out. Try it! It's wonderful!

  40. Our local meat market makes the most lucious rueben. The meat, cheese and bread is of the freshest quality. They make their own dressing with a hint of mustard and horseradish. They have the saurkraut and meat warm before putting the sandwich together, so when then they put the sandwich on the grill the cheese will melt without toasting the bread too much. Okay now I'm hungry and I just ate lunch.

  47. Good oldfashioned BLT, very crispy bacon, very cold tomato and lettuce and must be white bread. Usually don't eat white bread or bacon so this one also classifies as a treat (very sad - I know!).

  53. Okay, this is a really simple sandwich, but I have eaten this since I was a child. Toast and tomato sandwich. Toast 2 slices of bread, spread with butter, place thick slices of tomato add a dash of salt and pepper and enjoy. YUM, now I am hungry for one.

  59. I've got a couple, but the best I can't get anymore! One is a truly good pastrami on rye with hot deli mustard. But you need a really super deli to get one and I've moved away from mine! The other is a Beef on Wick ~ roast beef on a Kimmelwick (sp?) roll. LIVED on these when I lived in Upstate N.Y! Now I'm hungry dang it and a couple thousand miles from either option!!!!
