Saturday Sayings....

Word of the Day is "Encourage"

I kind of forget that sometimes we don't need to wait for others to encourage us.  We should be our biggest cheerleaders!  I'm a good person, why aren't I good enough to cheer myself on?  I can cheer others on......I can encourage others....
The answer is ... I am good enough for myself, I can cheer myself on, I can pat myself on the back.  I believe!
So everyone, take your right hand, pat yourself on the back and say.... I've got this! I Believe in ME!

    Love this one Paulette!We are usually our worst critic. We do need to encourage ourselves and believe we can do it or we will just sit and be negative. Positive is always better! Even to ourselves. Thank you for the reminder.

    So true Paulette. Thank you for the sentiment. I used to paint in Oils, Watercolors and Pastels. I got so discouraged because others kept telling me to do portraits or modern art. I did not want or like to do these. I tried them. I finally just stopped painting. I was so grieved by others. Now I wish I had continued. I am planning on starting back. I believe I can relearn what I have forgotten. This time I won't listen to others. I have developed since then by using digis. I know so much more. Edwina brown

    Edwina....although I do take requests at times, I so much rather just create my style. My art makes me feel good, and it shouldn't matter what anyone else feels. If they want modern....let them do it....LOL
