The freebies are only staying on the blog for about a week, then they are being retired......
In response to a lot of emails I have been getting in regards to that.........you were warned......All I request for the freebies, is comments/feedback and that you become a member of the blog.
On good days, most of the freebies get 2-3% feedback........not sure that that equals the effort that is given to you.
Many times we are not as appreciative as we should be. It seems to be a more and more common trait. Please know that you are in my heart everyday because I love your creations. I think our lives go so fast that we forget to thank those that enhance it. Please remember we do love you and all you do. Your blog is the highlight of my day. Hugs.. Patti
ReplyDeleteThank you with all my heart for all the wonderful freebies love Christine in Italy xx
ReplyDeleteI don't download all the freebies Paulette, and always comment on those I do as I really appreciate your generosity in sharing them!
ReplyDeleteAnnB
I am wondering if you even get to see all the 'thank you's' - if we download and put our name in the 'say thank you box' do you get that? It seems to go so fast, I often wonder...since I do download many of your freebies, I want you know I always put my name in the box and I very much appreciate all your work. Joanne
ReplyDeleteI love your so beautiful Creations! Thank you very much for making and sharing *BIG hugs*

Joanne....yes, I do see those if I go to the download site....even with those it is about the same percentage....which really is sad.
ReplyDeletePaulette
I also use the "Say TY" box on the DL page. Are you getting those??
ReplyDeleteI have followed your site for many moons and have always tried to slow down long enough to tell you how wonderful your digital talent is appreciated.
Thank you Paulette!
D :)
I love your stuff and do download a few of them. I will be more faithful about saying Thank you!!! I do appreciate your hard work.
ReplyDeleteI do try and comment most days Paulette, but I suppose if you were as lax as we can be, then we would be disappointed too, so I will try and comment EVERY day.
ReplyDeleteThanks for today's
I only download the items I think I can use or are just too great to leave, and hope the right occasion comes along to use them. I almost always leave a comment, its a bit like putting your seat belt on when you get in the car, you just do it without thinking! It is a sad fact of life that sometimes a persons generosity can so often be taken for granted.
ReplyDeleteThank you, sincerely, for all that you do. x
Paulette, I always say thank you on the download page and it doesn't take more than a second to do. This situation is sad because your wordart is so often in tune with my thoughts that it's spooky. It must hurt when you see over 1000 downloads and 2-3% of people say thanks.

Paulette, I try to comment on all that I take and see. Sometimes we are on the road and I don't even get to see your posts until it is too late. I hope you know how much I love you and all you do. You are amazing to me. And I can never thank you enough Hugs, Cathy K
ReplyDeleteThanks for today's freebie Paulette - I needed to hear it! The statistics you posted are very, very sad. If we have time to download the freebie, then there's time to say thank you!
ReplyDeleteLife has been so so so busy for me this summer... I seldom get online... but when I do, if I take something I say thank you... I really wish more folks would use their manners. Even if Momma didn't teach them how to be polite, it has been talked about a LOT and mature adults, one does know how to use the English Language and say THANK YOU!
ReplyDeleteSorry you don't get thanks for all you do! I comment on your blog and say thanks for every one I download. I wish you got a larger percent. Thanks for all you do!
ReplyDeleteI also do not usually comment on this blog, but on the download site. If you are not getting those, I'll make it a habit to pop in here :) You have been so very generous!!! Thank you ♥
ReplyDeleteIt is Very Sad that there are not many thank you's. It doesn't usually slip by me with out saying Thank You for everything you do for us. Thanks Again!!
ReplyDeleteCarol O
So sad - I had noticed the stats as I am often later in downloading the image - I don't download them all, but do make a point of thanking you for the ones I do.

I get the email service just to make sure that I don't miss anything, but I still come back to say thanks. I KNOW you put forth such an effort and all of work besides you have a full time job (besides being a Mom and a wife). It is unfortunate that people forget the little things such as "please" and "thank you" and when I see Mothers with young children I worry about the manners that they are being taught. I think we need to go back to the basics!
ReplyDeleteThank you for all your freebies. I sometimes download from the email and forget to go to the blog to leave a comment. I really appreciate all your freebies.
ReplyDeleteI do appreciate all that you so generously give to us and I do always leave a comment or click thank you.

What a shame more people don't bother to comment - I wish my comments counted for more than one each... I certainly appreciate them more than "one comment's worth" :-) Donna xx
ReplyDeleteOnly 2-3% feedback?! That is so sad! You are so right in removing the freebies from your blog if there are so many people out there that appear to love your work (who doesn't?) but dont' bother to say "Thanks". One simple word is all it takes! I haven't been around much this year, but I do make it a habit to always say thanks whenever I download a freebie.

So sorry about you not feeling the appreciation---I'm truly sorry. I realized that I was leaving it in the "downloaded" area...just saw where I can leave comments here...So I'm not the savviest on these sites...yup it sure takes me awhile to catch on--but I think I'm up to speed now---thanks!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!!! I appreciate your store and freebies and use them all the time. So even tho I didn't download anything today....THANK You for your site!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm embarrassed that it's only 2 or 3%. Oh, color some us of red......include me for the rare times that I didn't. I sincerely hope this is a wake up call. Thank you for all of your freebies, and for being so patient for so long.
ReplyDeleteI am very Grateful for the freebies!! I leave a comment every time I take one!!! Thanks for all you give!!!
ReplyDeletehugs, Heidi
i thank you for all the wonderful art that you do, i don't always thank you at the time, i am sorry about that. i enjoy your site, and get inspired by many of your dt.
ReplyDeletethanks for all the wonderful designs, i don't always say thank you but i do appreciate your sharing of your talent with us.
ReplyDeleteI'm not as appreciative as I should be!!! I do remark as often as I can. I don't always get to your blog on a daily basis due to health conditions. I appreciate all you do and I will try to be more considerate of your time, talents, and energy!

Paulette, I am so sorry you still have so many ungrateful people to deal with. Being summer, I don't spend the same amount of time on my laptop. I figure that's my loss if I miss an image. You are so generous I can't imagine not thanking you.
ReplyDeleteThanks again for ALL you give us.
hi
ReplyDeletereally can understand the effort you put in all these wonderful freebies.
just wanted to let u know that i totally love them :).
really feel bad when the effort is not appreciated properly.
hugs
Alyna
I will say that I am guilty of not always commenting on your fabulous freebies... and for that I am sorry. I do appreciate your generosity. Sorry that I am part of the 97% who do not comment on every freebie..If you ever start leaving them again, i will do much better at leaving a Thank you from now on..
ReplyDeleteAgain, My apologies
Pam
