I have decided on 48 Hour Freebies.....
So.........most freebies will be up for 48 hours, then they will go to the store....
And thank you to all the people who showed support....you are carrying the support for all those that don't also.
And just as a point of reference, because I got asked this question a lot yesterday also.....the freebie from yesterday at this point has 679 downloads and 50 Comments.

ReplyDeleteI am so very sorry that people are not showing you all the appreciation you deserve, really. I was talking about it with a e-pal just a few mins ago. I have been asked for ages to make a desktop wallpaper with one of my photos of a Highland Calf. I finally did it and added it as a freebie at the blog.... and no one said anything at all. I know a few have dwld it, but not a work. I did feel quite "rubbish" at first, because in the past people were much more nice on the Net (too bad things have changed) but then, in a way, I got "comfort" in knowing it also happens to other people (i.e. you). How stupid is that? ;D

It never ceases to amaze me that crafters have the time to download and snag your freebies but do not leave a comment thanking you for the effort and hardwork you put into creating them in the first place! thank you for your wonderful freebies, I will admit I am one of those horrible people that don't always say thank you. I suppose it comes down to being to lazy to go through 3 extra screens to say thank you, especially when you are in reader and the download page comes straight up. But that is very wrong, and I always say thank you to people - face to face, and this should be no different. So I apologise for those times I did not make an effort to say thank you.

If I nabbed a freebie without leaving a thank you, and posted the creation on my blog, I'd be stressing about the guilt of having it's creator see my card and know that I hadn't left a thankyou!
Your decision of 48 hour freebies is still very generous! Some only have them for 24 hours, and because of time zones, many of us miss out - thank you for your decision which will still let us internationals share in your generosity!

I do though currently have no working PC and so to not miss out I am left typing a message on a tiny screen and saving images to its internal memory. Maybe the problem is the listing on the Free Digital sites? Maybe you could think of.not listing there instead?
