I read a lot of the comments... you never know what you might learn, just like I did a few minutes ago
ReplyDeleteI was taught to be polite. It is the LEAST we can do. So thank you Paulette.
ReplyDeleteMwah!
ReplyDeleteHey...as I say, "You learn something new everyday"! Well, I didn't make it up, but I use it everyday!!! LOL

ReplyDeleteYou can gain a lot of inspiration here. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI think that is one of the better aspects of blogland. The people who do contribute are helpful to one another, give praise, hugs, thanks and prayers and it is a constant source of help and inspiration
ReplyDeleteIt is your soapbox and you can stand on it all you want, you're only telling it the way it is afterall xxx

You are very welcome. Thank you for all you do for us.
ReplyDeleteHi Paulette, I haven't been by for a little while and I"m sorry to hear you have so many snag and run collectors.
ReplyDeleteIf you still want to post a freebie I wouldn't leave it up for more than a day before I added a PayPal button to it.
Your images and word are are fabulous, I didn't collect anything from your site today but I'd love to thank you again today for all the other times I have.
Your word art sentiments really add a wonderful touch to my handmade cards.
Have a good evening, I appreciate you, Jan
Paulette,
ReplyDeleteDon't let the lack of comments get you down. These people who are downloading your generous freebies without any thanks or comments are still telling you that your work is valuable and that they were happy to have found it. Each download represents an admirer. Thoughtless, but excited by your gifts.
Paulette,
ReplyDeleteThank you for the wonderful vintage art freebie!
I just read the comment posted by Anonymous and I'm still in shock. It is not only incredibly harsh and rude, it is so offensive that the sender hid their identity. I know it's hard, but please realize that this person's reaction reflects her personal opinion, not a universal truth. You are loved by many.
{HUGS} To know you is to love you! {>
ReplyDeleteAs you said it's YOUR soap box! I like to read all the comments, when I've got the time. Sometimes there's great info and frequently they are funny!

I've been away from your blog for a while - alot seems to have happened. I used to be a take and runner, but you opened my eyes to the other side of the blog and how important it is to show appreciation for the generosity of the very talented crafters out there. I comment every time I accept a freebie - even if it means sending an email when sometimes the comment section doesn't work for me. It's the very least I can do.
ReplyDeleteLOL @ your soap box ;) I'd love to be more like you and be able to say things as they are. You are inspiring :D
ReplyDeleteHi Paulette...sorry I haven't been around much lately. I'm so sorry to hear that people still are not commenting...I know how frustrating that must be for you. It is a shame that people have not been brought up to say thank you for gifts that have been received. Although I have not taken anything today (yet lol), I wanted to say thank you so much for being as generous as you are and for all of the wonderful "days" that you introduce us to...like underwear day...who knew? lol
ReplyDeleteHugs ~ Charlene
LOL ... It's your blog! I know how you feel though! I get no activity on mine! It's sad :( but ... I just got home from HOT! Texas!! 12 hour car drive ... I'm so glad it's over lol ... I love your stamps and reading your posts and the comments too!
ReplyDeletePaulette, interesting that you get on the soap box about some of us not reading the comments. Thanks for 'permission'. I just always sort of felt that they were conversations between you and whoever. Just read all the way down this one (now that I have your permission) ant thoroughly enjoyed it.
