What do the people of China burn on New Years Eve?

Answer....They burn crackers to scare the evil spirits that roam the earth. (Now that probably is firecrackers....but I am hungry, and I thought saltines....LOL)

  8. They actually do burn money as well! DD lived in China for about 1.5 years, and spent the new year there, and was amazed at the money burning...
