Tomorrow is also......

 Balloon Air Mail Day

In 1859, John Wise was set to carry the first piece of U.S. airmail from Indiana to New York....he didn't quite make it....the weather was against him.  He tried again a month later, and succeeded in making it New York....not to the exact location, but he made it to NY.
