Happy
Newspaper Carrier Day, and
Oatmeal Day
I actually love oatmeal.....my grandfather who died at 103, ate oatmeal every morning without fail for pretty much all of his life. Made it himself...and not the instant box kind...lol
But, we are celebrating Newspaper Carrier Day~! Do they still have newspaper carriers?
RETIRED....Available in the STORE
Enjoy~!

ReplyDeletefun! I don't have any carriers in my area; maybe online reading has put them out of business; have to walk to the corner newspaper box!
ReplyDeleteI love oatmeal too - especially in winter!
Thanks for the great image and saying!
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I love it!
I love oatmeal, too. Thank you for the image and sentiment.
ReplyDeleteI had oatmeal for breakfast, before I read the paper. (Though I didn't know today was oatmeal's special day.) Thank you for the free word art.
ReplyDeleteFun one, thanks
ReplyDeleteThanks!!!
ReplyDeletethanks for the freebies - Down here in Augusta, GA (home of the Masters Golf Tournament), we still have home delivery carriers, plus a few enterprising folks who stand at major intersections on sunday mornings selling the paper out of their cars, but no street hawkers around here yelling exra, extra, read all about it! I've never actually seen that, except in movies and plays...
ReplyDeleteThankyou for sharing. Poppy
ReplyDeleteThank you for the freebie. One of my very good friends is in a new relationship with the editor of our local newspaper. Can't wait to make a card for them.

Ironically we can get our paper delivered out here but there's no actual postal delivery lol! We don't though cause it's so hard to straighten out once its been all rolled up in the cling wrap stuff...
ReplyDeleteThanks for another cute sentiment Paulette! - Oh and there is nothing like a good steaming bowl of porridge on a cold morning!! ;)
This is another good one! Thanks Paulette.
ReplyDeleteThank you Paulette. My mind is hopping with ideas on how to use this sentiment. It'll be fun to play with.
ReplyDeleteThank you Paulette :-)
