Back to School........

I know, it seems really early....but some little ones are going back to school already....and some of our schools in CA will start as early as two weeks from now. I always enjoyed reading to my little ones.....and this is such a sweet image. Time to start making those bookmarks to get them in the groove again.... = ) This was actually a colored image from a vintage book, then I turned into a digi.
Enjoy~!

  3. Yeah, it's definitely Christopher Robin & Pooh! That's what i thought when i first saw it. i love A.A. Milne's children's books. i can't tell you how many times i read "Now We Are Six" and "Winnie the Pooh" (Not the Disney versions) to my kids! His poetry and Lewis Carroll's are wonderful for kids and adults alike. Thank you so much for this sweet graphic.

  23. I adore to read and have done since I was a little one. The sheer escapism you can get from a book is one of life's greatest gifts.

  28. Oh I love this - thank you!! I am SO grateful for having had books as a child! It's the only presents I will give to my nieces (or other kids) - I figure they have enough fad toys... books will give them a lifetime of imagination and understanding!
