4th of July Fun~!

Let's Play some Games~! I love trivia....so we are going to kick off with some trivia...
Rules...
As soon as 15 people answer the trivia question....I will post the prize....

How tall is the Statue of Liberty?

  3. I think I went to the same site as the above member. LOL All I know is it was a bunch of stairs when I visited her 20+ years ago.

    That depends on how you measure it! The height of the Statue of Liberty is 151 ft. from the base to the torch. With the pedestal and foundation included in the measurement, the full height is 305 ft.

    Miss Liberty sits proudly atop the 65 ft. tall foundation fashioned in the shape of an eleven-point star, and an 89 ft. stone pedestal.

    From base to torch, the statue is 151 ft tall. If you were to include the base and pedestal, it is 305 ft tall.

  30. Wow thanks you for such an iconic image. I went to New York and it was really unfortunate as it was just after 9/11 so I never got to see her (understandably) It was a humbling experience visit the firefighters shrines and I will never forget it.Hard to believe it is 10 years ago......
