Tomorrow is National Doughnut Day~!
I love Krispy Kreme doughnuts.....the really gooey, sugar rush ones filled with that really sweet white frosting like filling~! I usually have one of those a year...lol.........tomorrow will be the day~!

Yep--I think those are my favorite Krispy Kreme ones, too... cream filled, chocolate iced. At Dunkin Donuts here, they are the "manager's special" and you have to get them in the morning or they are gone.
ReplyDeleteDarn...just when I was going to start cutting back on the sweets. LOL, it's a good thing the closest Krispy Kreme is an hour away. Enjoy your donut doubly for me. : )
ReplyDeleteMy son lives 5 minutes from one of those beautiful blinking Krispy Kreme signs in OK. *sigh* Wish I lived anywhere near one!
ReplyDeleteActually, probably a good thing I don't! LOL
Yummy! I haven't had one if those since I lived in SC! :). Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI am a New Englander, so Dunkin is my shop for doughnuts. I really loved the plain stick twists, but they don't make those anymore. Was more for your buck.
ReplyDeleteI never met a doughnut that I didn't like!
D :)
ROFL - National Doughnut Day has to be my favourite day. I didn't know about it before. I shall make sure that I buy myself a doughnut in the morning to celebrate (but the menfolk in this house will have to be very, very good if they want one too!!)
ReplyDeleteMmmm...I like buttermilk glazed doughnuts. :-P
ReplyDeleteMMMM! Sounds soooo good! I moved to an area that does not have krispy cream doughnuts and I miss them soooo much!
ReplyDeleteI am so sad that we don't have a Krispy Kreme anymore here in Canada...they were definitely the best! Dee
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what fun sentiment you come up with for Doughnut Day!
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous! Nothing better. We have to drive a couple of hours to get one, or wait until we make our big trip to the Kansas City area. Think of me when you take one of those melt in your mouth bites.
ReplyDeleteI agree Krispy Kreme's are the best, but like the glazed myself. My husband likes them so much that for Christmas I bought him the Department 56 Krispy Kreme house a few years ago.
ReplyDeleteRecently, I've taken a liking to apple fritters!! But NOTHING can beat a fresh, warm blueberry cake donut...YUM!
ReplyDeleteWe had 2 Krispy Kreme stores w/in about 30 minutes of us, and both have closed down........ I have not had one for years..... Yum! Enjoy your donut tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI remember my first Krispy Kreme ... a warm glazed one that melted in my mouth ... yum! It's no wonder they named a day just for donuts!! :) Enjoy yours tomorrow.

Please don't talk about those donuts- I start to drool.
ReplyDeletemmmmm...doughnuts!!! Yummy...darn, now I want one and it's 12:45 a.m. Nothing open now for getting any lol.
ReplyDeleteKrispy Kreme is 80 miles away. No temptation! The ones I've bought from kids for fundraisers, not too impressive. The roadtrip doesn't do them any good. :)
