Oh! My Goodness Paulette! My Mother worked at Goodmans during the war then just before my Father retired he was a Security Officer there! The Company organised trips to the seaside once year for all Employee's families. We had such good times..... Goodmans produced the largest safety pin in the world (at the time) and I still have it....such memories of the 60's you have brought back... thank you.
That first page has an ad for Chiclets. My Grandma always carried a box of these in her purse and would slip me one when we went to church together. I was never satisfied with one piece, though, but that's all she was giving, so I made the best of it. Thanks for the memory! And thanks for sharing these wonderful vintage pages, Paulette!
