  1. Thanks for the wonderful sentiment Paulette. I would love to have a go at creating a Junk Journal - especially now that I have a little bit more time on my hands!

  2. I love pay it forward - when we would drive over the Mackinaw Bridge [Michigan] often we paid the fee for the person in line behind us and sometimes that started a trend! The next person did the same - etc. We usually always do this when we cross that bridge.

I would love the opportunity to make a junk journal - and I would pay it forward to my next door neighbor after I finished it as a thank you gift...in addition I would enter my completed junk journal it in to as many challenges as possible with a posting on my blog on how I received the journal and where they can purchase one or where they can purchases pages to make their own [only fair to give the advertisement as a thank you for your generosity, Paulette] thanks for the opportunity for me to be in the draw- have a blessed day.

  3. Sorry, I forgot to leave my email address in my posting -[utb01@att.net] -- also today my neighbor came over and I helped her create 2 cards with my supplies for two 5th grade students she is mentoring. So, I would say I paid it forward today :) Love to try the Junk Journaling.

  4. Wouldn't it be lovely if there could be an official "Pay it Forward" day once a week? I've been recovering this past week from major oral surgery. Consequently, my ability to Pay It Forward was somewhat limited. My precious husband, Adam, has taken wonderful care of me, cleaned house, done all of the laundry, grocery shopped and run errands. A couple of weeks ago, my daughter gave me a pound or so of fresh strawberries left over from a dinner party she had given and I froze them. While my husband was at the grocery store today, I thawed out the berries and baked a shortcake. He was overjoyed when he came home to his FAVORITE treat in the world.
Thank you for offering such a fun giveaway. I love to make journals and just recently made my first junk journal! I gave it to my daughter. She told me she loved the "whimsy" throughout the journal. Made me smile.
