When I was younger my Dad used to take us out on Sundays for a drive. My brother and I would navigate without a map! He taught us how to recognise which roads were fairly main roads and which ones could be dead ends. I still value those skills now when I go to areas that I don't know and don't have a map. Thanks for the freebies - and the trip down memory lane!
Not sure if I'll ever have a use for the maps but I'll grab them just in case. You never know who you'll meet in cyberland!
When I was little, my parents and I would often get into the car and just drive for hours with no real destination in mind. Sometimes, they'd become overnight adventures. My husband and I did the same thing when we were first married. Unfortunately, these days with the price of gas and the lack of income it just isn't possible any more but your thoughts definitely brought back fond memories.
Thank you for this cool vintage digital! Have a blessed day!
