Wow....
I have been going through my stash of vintage valentine cards.....and wow....how racy they used to be in the 20s -50s.....lol.....and these were children's cards...lol
You can't tempt us like this and then not share them ... that just wouldn't be fair!!!! Hope some of them will make an appearance in the February club. Helen x
My grandmother, who died when i was 4 in 1947, gave a really racy valentine to my grandfather a few years before her death! It is hilarious! i just love it that they were so much in love for the 54 years they were married. She was such a marvelous woman that i have many memories of her even though i was so young when she died! But that card is really a treasure and i'm so glad it was preserved! He wrote her the most amazing letter the year after she died - and it means so much to me to be able to read that love letter.
