I decided to just celebrate that it was the first day of September....closer to Fall and Halloween ... closer to cooler days....closer to all the fun of Fall......oh wait....I live in California....that would mean ... September....Closer to Fire Season....Closer to Santa Ana Wind Season.....Closer to earthquake weather....and more hot days~! lol

    LOL, I do love September (not quit as much as October) We are having two very hot ( near 100 degree) days with high humidity and then a big drop in the forecasted temps :) Yeah, I love fall. Thanks.

    Can't believe how fast this year has sped by...it's still hot and so far not a cool breeeze in sight. I remember when we I started school (eons ago), there was always a coolness that ushered the school year in. Not anymore! the kids are wearing shorts and won't even look at those long hot jeans. Thanks for the sentiment.

    I am kinda sad when Sept. comes, because we loose our wonderful warm weather and it gets much cooler real fast. Also, the grandchildren go back to school and, of course, you see less of them with their very busy lives - which is the way it should be.
