Just last night my 24 year old son questioned why they didn't just unplug the phone in a movie from the 70's and I had to explain that back in the dark ages phones were "hard wired" and didn't unplug. Man, I feel old. Thanks for the goodie.

ReplyDeleteSeeing this just made me think of my mom and the way she answered the phone. She couldn't just say it, she always added another syllable and said it put the middle is a higher octave. We had the old party line with 10 other neighbors. Thank you for this sentiment and the memory.
