I am Fixated on Papers....

LOL......have heard from some of you though, that ask why??? Ink is so costly. Buying the paper is cheaper. In some cases I agree......BUT.....having paper to print works great in a pinch....and it will be different than anything you can purchase already printed....and it may be just perfect for that project you are working on.....and for those really digi savvy users, you can even change the colors~!

Thank you for all the comments on other reasons to love digi papers~! They are helpful to others.

  2. LOVE the yellow dots! Actually, I love all your paper patterns - but I can see giraffes with that one.... :)

  3. I'm enjoying the papers because lately I've been making digi cards and these also can work well for my BoM 365 project. :) And you never run out of digi paper. ;)

  4. And you never run out of your favourite paper. Nor do you have one of those annoying moments when your halfway through a project and run out and have to scrabble around to find a co-ordinating piece!

Thanks for sharing these are gorgeous. x

  5. Another reason why I LOVE digital papers is because paper piecing is a cinch. You can size it to the size of your digital stamp, print, cut and color. :-D Thanks, they are pretty.

  6. I agree with you - love digi papers because if I want a specific color paper that I don't have in my stash, finding it online is much easier than running to the store with 3 kids! Thank you for these - they are gorgeous!!

  7. I rarely actually print a whole sheet. I use digital papers in card making so I often need a 4x5in piece. I don't have to run to the store (it is usually midnight anyway)and I can choose or recolor something I already have. Making a scrapbook? I get those printed. Way too expensive at home.
Thanks for the variety of freebies you send. They are appreciated.

  9. Your fixation is our gain :-) Love them - thank you! I love digi papers because I can find the perfect pattern for my project instead of using something that just comes close. I mostly make cards and hate that on most papers, the patterns are huge in comparison to the card size. With digi papers, I can scale it down to fit the card.

  10. I use digi papers lots - I can resize them to the exact size I want, I don't have to hide yet another box of papers from my husband ;) and I've almost always got exactly the right paper for the occasion. Thanks for thesse, Paulette

  17. Printing digi papers isn't always more expensive. I've done a cost analysis for my printer (Canon MP560) and with Canon brand inks and matte brochure paper it costs about 75cents a sheet. With the off brand inks that I buy, it brings the cost down to 35cents for an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet. Thats cheaper than I can buy a sheet of patterned paper for at the LSS or Michaels in my area. Plus, they're not open at 3am when I'm stuck for a piece of paper. :)

  24. As someone else commented, I often am sad that the 12x12 paper in the stores have such big designs. When you're making cards smaller is usually better. Soooooo.... please keep on making your wonderful digi papers!!

  26. I can always print off more of a favorite paper instead of never seeing a favorite once I've used up the purchased sheet. Love these, Paulette! Thanks so much! And if you refill your own ink cartridges, printing your own papers really isn't all that expensive. I use a little HP Deskjet printer, nothing fancy, and have great results.

  27. Lovely papers. I love that I don't have paper scraps when I make stuff digitally. I have boxes of scraps!

  29. I LOVE your papers! Some of them I wish were LARGER! But I can usually manipulate and make it work for larger projects... I can't wait to make a few things I see in my mind with all the papers I'm snagging...
THANK YOU for each and every one of them!
