    I'm racking my mind trying to remember who was always saying this when I was young. It's kind of funny as I am watching last weeks episode of House and there are chickens in the hospital. Crazy. Thank you for this fun old saying.

    What a fun sentiment!
    I remember family using that expression but it also makes me think of the scene in Willy Wonka movie (original Gene Wilder version) where Veruca Salt goes down the "golden eggs" chute and is declared a "bad/rotten egg" : )
