    Oh, I especially like the princess & frog one! There is a saying in German that goes

    "Willst du einen Prinz erwischen,
    musst du viele Frösche küssen."

    (If you want to catch a prince,
    you have to kiss many frogs.)

    My mum used to say that. (I have found my prince without kissing a single frog and I am so glad.) ;)
