nelson mandela...I have always admired people with great leadership qualities and people who can motivate the entire world
ReplyDeleteThat is a hard choice! I think I would LOVE to meet Rachael Ray. She is so vibrant and fun. A good cook (I love food) and modest. Gotta love her. :) Hugs...
ReplyDeleteDr. Gillian McKeith. I think being her friend, she would support me in eating clean and healthy and make sure I am getting the right knowledge on living healthy. Plus, she would let me taste all her recipes. I love new and different healthy foods. Plus, she is downright honest and to the point.
ReplyDeleteHmmm...I would say Jesus. I have so many questions to ask and I know he has my back no matter what. :-D
ReplyDeleteI'm sure there are lots of famous people I'd like to be friends with, but I have trouble making decisions. So the first one that popped into my head was Cesar Millan (the Dog Whisperer), so that he could show me how to be a better dog owner and get my chihuahua to stop bending me to his will ;)
ReplyDeleteI think I'd like Ellen, She seems fun!
ReplyDeleteThis is a hard one, Paulette. There are people I want to ask 'Just what are you thinking?' but don't necessarily want to 'be friends.' :)
ReplyDeleteBilly Graham because of his compassion for the lost and willingness to serve.
I guess Cesar Millan; the way he goes along with dogs is just amazing. For the Dutch people I would say Guus Meeuwis (Dutch folk singer); because everywhere he goes he brings joy and pleasure and some seriousness in time.
ReplyDeletehmmmm .... Davina McCall cos she seems to be a really genuine person and a right laugh.
ReplyDeleteFor those of you who don't live in the UK, Davina was the host of Big Brother!
Hugs Jillx
I read Carol Dees answer and it helped with my answer. Paula Deen, she is so funny and sweet and I want to cook with her, and eat with her lol.
ReplyDeleteYolonda Adams,
ReplyDeleteHer music inspires me and she has such a beautiful voice and I love her morning show on the radio!
WOW this is such a hard one, but got to be Jamie Oliver as I love his cookbooks and I love getting it out if I stuck for ideas, my faw one is the newest one Make it in 30 min, well I never managed it but does have good cheets in there and whatever I cooked it was yummy oh and I do think he is cute too
ReplyDeletehugs
Ildiko
I wouldn't mind being friends with Oprah honestly...she's made a doorway for women in the TV business and has inspired many of us to live a better life all while loving ourselves.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to be a friend to Oprah. But my husband doesn't like her, so I think there would be a problem.
ReplyDeleteI would choose President Carter. He has done so much for our country in his spare time that it is just unbelievable.
ReplyDeleteFunny I asked my hubbie a similar question last night, living or dead who would he like to meet. I said Mother Theresa. A living person is harder for me. If I had to pick a celebrity I think maybe Bono for his humanitarian work?? I find I am more fascinated with those who selflessly help others, the "average Joe". Missionaries, doctors without borders, those types of amazing people. (sorry about the long ramble-lol)
ReplyDeleteEllen she is just a ray of sunshine :)
ReplyDeleteIt would most definitely be Jesus. He's the One I look up to most. He's my Healer and my Friend. Yep, it would be Him! All others pale in comparision to my Savior.
ReplyDeleteWinston Churchill - for his pearls of wisdom.xx
ReplyDeleteI would be friends with Denzel Washington because in my next life....He's going to be my Husband! LOL!
ReplyDeleteThe Queen - she would have such stories to share, I'm sure!
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking on this one....
ReplyDeleteCan't really think of anyone of the top of my head.
I think first would be Jesus, surely.
Then I would choose Ty from Extreme Home Makeover. So talented & real.
D :)
Amelia Earhart. I would love to know where she got the courage and the desire to want to fly like she did! It was certainly something for her to go through what she did as a woman in the era she lived!
ReplyDeleteWhat a silly question. I would rather be friends with an average person, who will be there for me when I need him/her :)
ReplyDeleteI would be friends with David Jason from "Only fools and horses" I just love him, and humour can get you through most things x Leigh x
ReplyDeleteThis is a hard one - my heroes are all past - i can't think of a living person who approaches people like George Washington Carver, Mother Theresa, Dr. Ida Scudder, David Livingston, Albert Schweitzer... People who gave their lives in service to others and to the Lord Jesus... i can't think of a celebrity who has done much as any one of these people of the past. Most of them have some other agenda when they are in the spotlight. But, i Ravi Zacharias stands out as someone i would like to know.
ReplyDeleteIf I had my chose - I would love to sit down with anyone needing company - just an ear for them. Who - it would not matter as long as I was helping out.
ReplyDeleteI love my friends dearly and this is a tough question. I guess I'd like to meet Alton Brown from Food Network. He's got such a funny sense of humor and I always learn something when I watch the show.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to meet Billy Graham and hear him tell about his years of ministry.
ReplyDeleteI am comment number 30...WOW!
ReplyDeleteI think I like Rachael Ray! She always has good taste in her recipes and she seems to keep it pretty healthy! But I also like to get to know Sandra Bullock for MANY reasons!
