Tuna fish salad made with solid white tuna, yellow delicious apples, lemon juice, and egg--and of course Hellman's mayonaise--Awesome! Got the recipe off of Sesame Street years ago when my kids were little. I added the egg though, can be left out. Try it! It's wonderful!
ReplyDeleteFavorite Subway sandwich is the BMT (pepperoni, salami and ham) YUM!! On flatbread, not regular bread!
ReplyDeleteI love Ruebens!!
ReplyDeleteOur local meat market makes the most lucious rueben. The meat, cheese and bread is of the freshest quality. They make their own dressing with a hint of mustard and horseradish. They have the saurkraut and meat warm before putting the sandwich together, so when then they put the sandwich on the grill the cheese will melt without toasting the bread too much. Okay now I'm hungry and I just ate lunch.
ReplyDeleteAnything is great with fresh rye bread :) Especially spicy unripened cheese and paprika.

I've got a couple, but the best I can't get anymore! One is a truly good pastrami on rye with hot deli mustard. But you need a really super deli to get one and I've moved away from mine! The other is a Beef on Wick ~ roast beef on a Kimmelwick (sp?) roll. LIVED on these when I lived in Upstate N.Y! Now I'm hungry dang it and a couple thousand miles from either option!!!!
